String Tension Comparison notes

Low Tension

The advantage of lower tension is increased power in your shots. It is normally used by advanced players who have good control.

Medium Tension

This is probably the best tension for most players. It should provide you with a good balance between power and control.

High Tension

Players use high tensions as it gives better ball control. If your shots are not as accurate as you think they should be, try using a higher tension.

Tension Ranges

There is s a recommended range of string tensions for each racket. This is normally shown on the racket frame inside the handle.

A tennis player must select the string tension which is best for their individual requirements.
